Food prices are on the rise, and not only that, but in some areas rice is being rationed as less is available for the market. So would a similar situation happen with other foods, such as vegetables and fruits? Even if not, food prices will continue to rise for some time. So it may be time to start growing your own vegetables. Even with a small yard or in an urban area you can grow tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. You can even start growing your own fruits such as strawberries in containers. And herbs are perfect for growing in pots. Fresh basil, rosemary and chives are excellent in your recipes.
